Thank you to Justine, Myriam and Fanny.

Voici quelques unes de vos réponses aux exercices sur les superlatifs.

Who do you respect the most?
It's not just a person that I respect the most but a group: my family. The members of my family are the happiest people I know. My mother is the nicest. My father is the funniest. My uncle T. is the most intelligent whereas my uncle J. is the sportiest. My cousin P. is the most creative but my three other cousins can be called the most terrible ones because they can't help doing stupid things . I don't forget my grand-mother who is the best cook on earth. Tasting her recipes is just "yummy, yummy!
Justine

Tell me about the nicest person in your life.
The most beautiful person I have in my life is my mother. She is everything to me. She gave me life. She protects me everyday. She loves me as I am and that's what I like. She is the dearest person to me. I would give everything to keep her by my side forever. My mother will remain the most wonderful person in my life because I love her very much.
Myriam

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?
My nicest holidays were in summer 2010 when I went to Paris with my sister. It is the most popular touristic destination in the world!
We visited the most famous places such as the wax Grévin museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the science museum called la cité des sciences...
We also went shopping in the biggest stores. For instance, we spent time and money in the 10 storey department store, located boulevard Haussmann: the Galeries Lafayette. Its dome is made of steel and glass.
The weather was beautiful so we walked but we took the most convenient and the quickest means of transport: the tube.

An episode of " Friends"

On Thursday, 8 of you were absent. We watched the ninth episode of the first season of "Friends". "Friends" is an American situation comedy about a group of friends in the New York City borough of Manhattan. We watched this episode because it was about Thanksgiving.

You can read the plot of the episode we watched together here.

True or False. Justify.
  1. Chandler hates this day.
  2. Rachel wanted to go and visit her family.
  3. Phoebe prepares the thanksgiving meal for everybody.
  4. The turkey is just crispy and juicy.
  5. Finally , for Thanksgiving dinner that year, they have sandwiches instead of turkey.

What specific Thanksgiving New York tradition can you see in this episode?
